By completing this course, you will:
The course runs for 12 weeks, divided into three modules. Each module focuses on a specific day of the week with two subjects taught in detail.
Saturdays – Aqeedah & Seerah (with Abdulrahman Eraky):
In Aqeedah, you will explore the Six Pillars of Iman: belief in Allah, His names and attributes, angels, revealed books, and prophets. These lessons explain why belief is central to Islam and how it guides daily decisions.
In Seerah, you will study Arabia before Islam, the Prophet’s youth, his marriage to Khadijah, the first revelation, and the early da’wah. These sessions highlight his perseverance and leadership in the face of challenges.
Mondays – Fiqh & Tafseer (with Shahid Khan):
Fiqh lessons cover purification, types of water, wudu, tayammum, and salah. Practical demonstrations and Q&A ensure clarity.
Tafseer focuses on Surah Al-Fatiha and other short surahs, giving you an understanding of vocabulary, context, and lessons that you can apply in prayer and daily reflection.
Thursdays – Tajweed & Qur’an Memorisation (with Munes Nazzal):
Tajweed classes introduce makharij (points of articulation) and the rules of Noon Saakin and Meem Saakin. Memorisation begins with Surah Al-Fatiha, Al-Ikhlas, Al-Falaq, and An-Nas. You will strengthen your recitation while connecting meanings with daily worship.
Saturdays – Aqeedah & Seerah:
Aqeedah lessons expand to belief in the Last Day and Qadar (divine decree), teaching accountability and reliance on Allah. Seerah covers the Prophet’s migration to Madinah, Isra’ wal-Mi’raj, and major events like the Battle of Badr and the Battle of Uhud. These provide lessons on community building and resilience.
Mondays – Fiqh & Tafseer:
Fiqh shifts to fasting, zakah, and hajj, with practical explanations and applications. Tafseer explores surahs like Al-Asr, Al-Kawthar, Al-Ma’un, and Quraysh. The themes of gratitude, time, and social responsibility are emphasized, helping you reflect on your personal growth.
Thursdays – Tajweed & Qur’an Memorisation:
Tajweed sessions move to Madd (elongation) rules and fluency practice. Memorisation continues with Surahs Al-Asr, Al-Kawthar, Al-Ma’un, and Quraysh. These short but profound chapters strengthen your spiritual awareness and enhance your prayer experience.
Saturdays – Aqeedah & Seerah:
Aqeedah is reviewed as a whole with a focus on applying belief to daily life and avoiding misconceptions. Seerah lessons include the Treaty of Hudaybiyyah, the Conquest of Makkah, and the Prophet’s final sermon, underlining forgiveness, justice, and universal guidance.
Mondays – Fiqh & Tafseer:
Fiqh sessions review all acts of worship and include rulings for travel and illness. Tafseer revisits the surahs studied in Juz Amma, tying lessons together and showing their modern relevance.
Thursdays – Tajweed & Qur’an Memorisation:
Final Tajweed sessions emphasize fluency and smooth recitation. Memorisation concludes with Surah Al-Feel and a complete revision of all Surahs studied. Exams in the final week, oral, written, and practical, mark the successful completion of the course. Graduates receive the Basic Certificate in Islamic Studies.
The program runs for 12 weeks, three times a week: Saturday (Aqeedah & Seerah), Monday (Fiqh & Tafseer), and Thursday (Tajweed & Memorisation). Each session is 1.5 hours long.
Lessons include theory, practice, and interactive activities. Students benefit from storytelling in Seerah, live demonstrations in Fiqh, guided recitation in Tajweed, and reflective Tafseer discussions. Mini quizzes, reviews, and final exams make learning engaging and effective.
