40 Days Towards change – A Mental Health and Wellbeing Workshop

Are you feeling stuck in life, struggling with your thoughts, or simply looking for a way to become a better version of yourself? “Time for Change: A Mental Health and Wellbeing Workshop” is a weekend workshop designed to help you grow through Islamic teachings.

Whether you’re a student, a professional, or just someone trying to reconnect with your faith, this course will guide you to make real, lasting changes in your life through belief, worship, and daily practice.

This 1.5-hour-long online program, held every Saturday, focuses on helping you build a positive mindset and become happier and resilient, all through the lens of Islamic values.

It’s more than just a self-improvement course. It’s a journey toward a happier, more peaceful you, centered on your connection with Allah.

What You Will Learn

The course is structured into three easy-to-follow modules that take you from building your inner faith to reshaping your mindset and, finally, maintaining your progress over time. Each module combines Islamic teachings with practical strategies, allowing you to start seeing changes immediately.

Module 1: The Power of Belief

In this first module, we will talk about what it truly means to believe in One God (Tawheed) and how that belief becomes the anchor for everything in life. You’ll discover how acts of worship, like prayer and remembrance, help you stay grounded every day.

We’ll also look at the inspiring lives of Prophets and how their stories can motivate you to keep going, even when life gets tough. It will help you see your own lives in a different light.

Module 2: Changing Your Mindset

Here, we shift the focus toward you to help you understand yourself better. You’ll learn how powerful your intentions (Niyyah) really are and how they shape your outcomes.

We will explore ways to think more positively, even when things feel negative, and teach you how to replace harmful self-talk with thoughts that lift you up. This module is all about getting your head and heart in the right space to move forward.

Module 3: Creating Better Daily Habits

Big changes start with small steps. This module focuses on building simple routines that support both your faith and well-being. We’ll talk about how to prioritize Salah in your schedule, the amazing spiritual and mental benefits of regular Dhikr, and how effective time management can bring balance to your busy life.

Module 4: Building Strength and Resilience

Life is full of challenges, but faith gives us the strength to rise above them. In this module, we’ll explore how to develop emotional and mental resilience by seeing trials as opportunities to grow.

We will also discuss patience (Sabr), its importance, and how it can bring calm during times of chaos. You’ll learn how prayer and a strong support system can help you bounce back, no matter what.

Module 5: Surrounding Yourself with Positivity

Who you surround yourself with matters. We are a product of all the people and energy around us. This module focuses on creating a supportive environment that keeps you motivated.

We’ll talk about the importance of a strong, positive Ummah (community), how to choose friends who uplift you, and how simple acts of kindness and charity can boost your mood and strengthen your faith. You’ll leave this module feeling inspired to build better relationships.

Module 6: Keeping Your Progress

Growth isn’t just about starting, it’s about continuing. In this final module, we’ll show you how to set realistic personal goals that are aligned with Islamic values. You’ll also explore how lifelong learning keeps your faith strong and how to stick with the good habits you have started building.

In addition to all that, the workshop provides opportunities for follow-ups with our instructor to ensure your ongoing growth.
